Castleton is a vibrant village hosting tea rooms, shops, pubs and eateries for you to enjoy at your pleasure. 1530 Restaurant is our favourite!
Walking attractions:
Numerous walking trails, Peveril Castle, Mam Tor, Edale, Four Caverns including Blue John Cavern and locally known "Devils Arse" Cavern.
Castleton has a fabulous visitor center which is a 5-minute walk from the cottage. They offer advice and walking routes around the whole area.

Local post office and Peverill Stores/Bakery for essential food requirements. For larger shops - Spar in Hope (5 min drive) and Morrisons in Chapel en Frith (20 min drive)
